Privacy

• The Personal plan needs no account and sends us nothing.
• Pro and Team sync is end-to-end encrypted with keys that never leave your devices.
• We do not train models on your data. Extraction and embeddings run locally.
• This website sets no tracking cookies. Your theme preference is stored in your browser only.

Esfis stores memories, documents and history in ~/.esfis. The app and CLI read and write that directory and nothing else. You can inspect, export or delete it at any time. Uninstalling the app does not delete it; esfis purge does.

When you enable sync we store encrypted blobs and the minimum account data to bill you: email, plan, and payment status through our payment processor. We can see how much you store and when you sync, not what you store. Team admins can see membership and usage for their space, never the content of another member's private memories.

Data is stored in the EU. You can export everything or delete your account from the app; deletion removes the blobs within 30 days.

We use no analytics scripts and no third-party cookies. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address as any web request does. The contact form opens your own mail client; nothing is submitted to us until you send the email.
